Ritten against Vipiteno: The duel is becoming more explosive

The third semi-final game in the Alps Hockey League will be played on Saturday. Both series are completely even, especially the one between the two South Tyrolean long-term rivals.

SG Cortina was able to make their semi-final duel on Thursday 1-1 with an away win in Salzburg, and the Wipptal Broncos did the same. They defeated the Rittner Buam 4-2 after one of their best performances of the season. After this great boost of self-confidence, the wild horses run at full gallop onto the Ritten high plateau. The third semi-final act will take place there on Saturday at 18 p.m.

In the home win on Thursday, the Broncos showed that they are not solely dependent on offensive legions, but can stand up to the regular season winners with all their lines and a compact team performance. At the same time, the Buam were impressively shown that they have to bring their top form onto the ice in order to live up to their role as favorites.

However, Marco Insam and Co. know very well: if they tighten the reins, every opponent in this league will have an extremely difficult time. And now that there are only two opponents left on the way to the title, there is no waiting, no tactics. Full steam ahead is the motto in Klobenstein. This is also what the fans who accompanied their protégés to the Fuggerstadt on Thursday want and are now determined to celebrate the next home win - also to bring the now completely unleashed wild horses back in check.
