Hannes Uffelmann is staying in Ritten.

Ritten is relying on another homegrown talent.

The Ritten/Ritten SkyAlps have confirmed Hannes Uffelmann, another homegrown talent, for the 2026/27 season. The Ritten native will be entering his sixth season with the blue-and-red team.

Uffelmann, like so many of his teammates from Ritten, came up through the entire youth system of the Rittner Buam SkyAlps. The now 23-year-old made his debut in the Alps Hockey League in the 2020/21 season. In the following years, with the exception of the 2021/22 season, in which he played for the IHL farm team SV Kaltern Rothoblaas, he was a regular member of the Ritten roster.

The intelligent defenseman has now played 115 games and recorded nine assists for the Blue-Reds. Last season, the right-handed shot appeared in 45 games and contributed five assists.

"Hannes Uffelmann is an intelligent defender who had his best season to date on the Ritten last year. He should build on that. He makes virtually no mistakes, is technically skilled and has good vision," praised Ritten's sporting directors Dan Tudin and Alexander Eisath.
