Robert Öhler is practically a veteran at Ritten/Renon. After his seventh season with the blue-and-red team, the 25-year-old has played 302 games and tallied 73 points (33 goals). Last season, which ended far too soon in the pre-playoffs, Öhler played 45 games and recorded 14 points (nine goals).
His playing style makes him a key component for the Ritten Buam. Öhler is tough, relentlessly throws himself into the boards and opponents, and never shies away from a challenge. He also possesses a keen eye for scoring in the slot and his fearlessness draws penalties from opposing players.

As a native of Ritten, he was one of the first players whose contract extension sporting directors Dan Tudin and Alexander Eisath successfully pursued. "We are very happy to have Robert back in our team. His work ethic, his physical style of play, and his consistency make him an important part of our attack," the two concluded.
