Connor Sanvido stays in Sterzing.

Sterzing extends with a points guarantor

The Wipptal Broncos have announced the contract extension with Connor Sanvido.

The Canadian with Italian passport initially grew up on the other side of the Atlantic. The forward played in the WHL from 2009 to 2014. During this time, he collected 93 points in 252 games. He then moved to the college championship for the 2014/15 season. He remained there for five seasons, until 2019, collecting 107 appearances (45 points). The right-handed shooter played in the ECHL and SPHL until the 2020/21 season.


For the 2021/22 season, Sanvido then moved across the pond and signed with EC Pfaffenhofen (4th division) in Germany. After 15 appearances and 21 points, he moved to Pergine in the IHL during the season. The winger played there again last season, collecting an impressive 45 points in 79 games.
Number 88 has consistently impressed for Sterzing over the past two seasons, particularly outstanding in the past season. The 51-year-old collected an impressive 31 points in 61 matches, placing him among the absolute leaders.
