Wild horses poach from the falcons

Gabriel Nitz will move from the Falcons from Brixen to the Wipptal Broncos next season and will complete his first full season in the Alps Hockey League.

The 18-year-old progressed through all of the Falcons' youth teams in Brixen and, starting in the 2021/22 season, played with the Wipptal Broncos (U17 and U19). The tall defenseman gained his first experience in the Italian Hockey League in the 2023/24 season, making a total of 18 appearances. In the last league season, the right-handed shooter played for both the Falcons and the Wipptal Broncos.

He made a total of 21 appearances in the Alps Hockey League. In addition, Gabriel Nitz has already competed in two U18 World Championships and two U20 World Championships, winning medals in three of the four events (two bronze medals in the U2 category and one gold medal in the U20 category). Gabriel Nitz will be a permanent fixture on our roster next season.
