Azzurre end World Cup with victory

Italy's women's ice hockey team finished the World Championship of Division B with a victory over Great Britain.

The Division B World Cup in Dumfries, Scotland, was a complete success for Italy. The Azzurre won all five of their matches and advanced to Division B Group A. The final match was a 1-5 victory over Great Britain on Tuesday evening.


Fantin gave the Azzurre the lead in the first period, before Caumo added a brace in the middle period. Tutino sealed the deal in the final period.
