The Italian Ice Sports Federation (FISG) holds its board elections every four years. In the past, the general meeting was held in late May or early June of an Olympic year. This year, the board will be newly elected on Saturday, July 25 – later than ever before. The first election meeting took place on Tuesday at the Sheraton Hotel in Bolzano.

Not only the four presidential candidates, but also the two candidates for the position of vice president and the eleven interested parties for the six board members positions were able to present themselves to the representatives of the South Tyrolean ice sports clubs (ice hockey, speed skating, figure skating, short track, curling, ice stock sport, para ice hockey and wheelchair).
