Alex Petan moves on, but stays in the ICE

Alex Petan has now officially left HC Pustertal. The Italian international's new employer was announced on Friday. It is once again a club from the ICE Hockey League.

First Bolzano, then Székesfehérvár and Bruneck, and now Ljubljana: Alex Petan's city tour in the ICE Hockey League is impressive. The 33-year-old Italian-Canadian will be playing for Olimpija Ljubljana next season. The Slovenians officially announced this on Friday.

Petan was one of the key players for HC Pustertal last season. In 49 appearances for the Wolves, the forward collected 35 points. During his career, Petan has also played in Germany (Iserlohn Roosters) and the USA (AHL, ECHL). Ljubljana is Petan's fourth stop with the ICE, after two years with HCB, three seasons with Fehervar, and two years with HCP.
