Tanner Kaspick recently celebrated his six years in the AHL.

Asiago is gearing up

Asiago has signed Canadian striker Tanner Kaspick. He could be an absolute top player.

Born in Brandon, Manitoba, Tanner Kaspick spent the majority of his junior career in the WHL and was selected by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft.

Most recently, he played six seasons in a row in the second-highest North American league, the AHL, making 293 appearances and scoring 60 points. Last season, he played for the San Jose Sharks' farm team, the San Jose Barracuda.

First European adventure

It is the Canadian center's first experience in Europe. "He is a hard worker and has a great understanding of tactics," says sports director Tessari.

Kaspick will wear the number 26 shirt in Asiago and will replace Adam Rockwood in the squad, with whom the Stellati parted ways after only a few weeks. The club from Veneto started the season at the weekend with an unfortunate 3:4 defeat at the champions from Salzburg.
