The first and the last await the South Tyroleans.

The South Tyrolean teams in the ICE Hockey League continue their campaigns on Wednesday. While HCB Südtirol Alperia travels to Innsbruck for the Tyrolean capital derby, HC Falkensteiner Pustertal hosts KAC at home.

The starting positions for the two South Tyrolean ICE Hockey League teams before Wednesday evening could not be more different. While HC Pustertal faces league leaders Klagenfurter AC at home in the Intercable Arena, HC Bozen travels to TWK Innsbruck. The North Tyrolean team is at the bottom of the table, having lost four of their last five games.

HCB defenseman Jason Seed nevertheless warns against underestimating the Sharks from the Tyrolean capital: "They played well against Graz recently, and Graz is a top team in the league. Besides, it's never easy in Innsbruck." Seed, who will compete with Italy at the Olympic Games, adds: "We have to take each game as it comes. I'm sure we're ready for the match in Innsbruck."

Klagenfurt visits Bruneck

KAC travels from Carinthia to Bruneck with confidence. The Red Jackets have won all of their last games, with only the match against Fehervar going to overtime. But HCP is also in good form. After three straight wins, the league leaders arrive at the Rienz River at just the right time.
