You can rely on him: Bozen extends defender's contract

HC Bozen has continued its personnel planning and extended the contract with a defender who has not been in the Talfer city for very long.

HCB Südtirol Alperia officially announces that the contract with Italian national defender Jason Seed has been extended for the 2025/26 season. This will be the 33-year-old's second season in the white and red jersey. Last year, he settled in well in a supporting role. Seed's regular season was particularly good, but he showed some blemishes in the playoffs.

Seed came to Bolzano last year after playing in Cortina for two years. In his first ICEHL season, he proved to be a solid and reliable defenseman, collecting 21 points in 59 games (4 goals, 17 assists). He also finished the season with a plus/minus rating of +18, the third-best on the team. Two months ago, he also participated in his second Division 5A World Championship with the Italian national team, helping them achieve promotion. He contributed two assists and a plus/minus rating of +XNUMX.

"I'm excited to return to Bolzano for another season," Seed said. "I'm grateful for the opportunity and confident we can build on what we achieved last season to take a significant step closer to our goal of winning the trophy. I can't wait for the start in August. See you soon – Go Foxes!"
