Bolzano and Pustertal on DAZN

There is news for South Tyrolean ice hockey fans: In the 2024/25 season, the Italian teams of the ICE Hockey League will also be available to watch for free on DAZN.

The Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey, the HCB Südtirol Alperia and the HC Pustertal Wölfe are the “Big Three” of Italian ice hockey and have been playing for years in the international ICE Hockey League, in which the best teams from Austria, Slovenia, Hungary and of course Italy are represented.

Through the new collaboration with DAZN, fans and platform users will have the opportunity to enjoy at least 24 games of the Italian teams in the ICEHL on their devices - TV, tablet, PC or smartphone - for free. Each team will be broadcast at least eight times during the regular season, and more playoff games could be added if the teams reach them.

It all starts on September 27th with Migross Asiago, who will kick off against Olimpija Ljubljana in the Slovenian capital at the Hala Tivoli. The final broadcast schedule will be announced in the coming days.

Games are free

This project has been made possible thanks to the support of the ICE Hockey League and all the participating teams: "We would like to thank the League and the other clubs for supporting us in this project," said the presidents of the three teams, Dieter Knoll, Piercarlo Mantovani and Erich Falkensteiner. "We believe that this can be a turning point in the media to give more visibility to Italian ice hockey. We are very happy with the agreement with DAZN and proud to be able to offer our fans so many exciting games for free."

What does this mean? This means that the ICE Hockey League content on DAZN will not only be available to subscribers of the streaming platform, but will be free for anyone who registers on the website.
