HC Bozen has something to make up for.

“We dropped a point in Innsbruck, because the race for the top three spots is tight,” Daniel Frank succinctly summarized. After their 5-4 overtime victory, HC Bozen will face the bottom-ranked team again on Friday evening. This time, they aim to secure all three points in front of their home crowd.
Bolzano was unable to fully capitalize on Salzburg's slip-up, which saw them leave Budapest empty-handed. With the two points gained, the Foxes have closed the gap to third-placed Red Bull Salzburg to just one point, but they must also keep a close eye on HC Pustertal.

Mathematical qualification for the playoffs – given their 20-point lead over seventh place and nine games remaining – is within reach for HC Bern, but the goal for all teams in the current top six is to achieve the best possible position in the standings. On Sunday, the Talferstadt team will travel to face the Vienna Capitals.
Puster Valley on a trip
HC Pustertal, on the other hand, will be playing in Vienna on Friday. The Wolves arrive in the Austrian capital with four wins under their belt. However, HCP has lost three of its last five away games, including the last two in a row. In the head-to-head record against the Capitals this season, Pustertal leads 2-1, and they will be playing again away just one day later against Hydro Fehervar.ICE: The games from the weekend
