Three players are leaving HC Bozen
The HCB Südtirol Alperia roster overhaul is taking shape. On Tuesday, the Foxes said goodbye to three players.

As HCB announced, Shane Gersich, Max Gildon and Mark Barberio They will not be returning to Bolzano this summer. This has now been officially confirmed. However, their departure had been foreshadowed months ago. All three players thus only stayed in Salzburg for one year. While Gildon's and Barberio's new clubs are not yet known, Gersich moved to league rival Vienna Capitals.
Gersich got off to a good start in the Champions Hockey League in Bolzano. The 29-year-old then experienced both good and bad spells during the regular season before disappointing in the playoffs. Gildon, on the other hand, was HCB's best defenseman and unstoppable. The 27-year-old impressed with a plus-minus rating of 33 and contributed 34 assists. Gildon is being linked with a move to the DEL.

Barberio, on the other hand, struggled with injuries in Bolzano. The now 36-year-old was barely able to showcase his skills because he tore a muscle after eleven games. The elegant skater subsequently never regained his form. In total, due to injuries, Barberio only played 21 games for HC Bolzano.
