Tight series: Fehervar equalizes against KAC

The Carinthians suffered a 2-3 overtime defeat away to Fehervar on Saturday, tying the best-of-seven series at 2-2. The next encounter will take place next Monday (7:15 p.m.) in Klagenfurt. All four previous meetings have been won by the respective home team.

Former Bolzano star Josh Teves put KAC ahead four seconds before the first intermission buzzer, but Rasmus Kulmala equalized on the power play in the 33rd minute. Fehervar's first lead, courtesy of Akos Mihaly (48th minute), was leveled by Jan Mursak on the power play (59th minute), before Janos Hari sealed the victory for Fehervar in the eighth minute of overtime.
