Slight all-clear for HCB crack Miglioranzi

Bolzano's defender Enrico Miglioranzi was injured in the second quarter-final against Villach. Now the club is giving the cautious all-clear.

It was a scene that hurt just to watch. In the second quarterfinal between Villach and Bozen, the middle third had just begun when VSV striker Robert Sabolic fell unhappily on the bent knee of HCB defender Enrico Miglioranzi. The 2-year-old Defender remained lying with his face contorted in pain and then disappeared into the cabin.

The worst was suspected for Miglioranzi, who has been a mainstay in the HCB defense since last season. However, after a detailed investigation, HC Bozen has now given the all-clear. The ligaments in the knee are not torn. The club says they will now see how Miglioranzi is doing day by day. It remains to be seen whether there will be enough for a return this season.
