This departure was expected: Michele Marchetti will leave HC Bozen after two years. The 31-year-old forward is returning to Asiago, as both clubs announced on Monday morning. This brings Marchetti's time with HCB to an end.

Fassaner was one of the few players on the Foxes roster who were part of their last title win in 2018. After that season, Marchetti left for Asiago and then returned in the summer of 2024, giving HCB another chance. However, the hard-working player never truly found happiness with the Red and Whites, especially since he received little trust from the coaches and only sporadic playing time.

Therefore, it's not really surprising that Marchetti is now seeking a new challenge and returning to Asiago. The forward is a real asset for the Alps Hockey League club.
