With home games: This is how South Tyrol's ICE teams are starting

The ICE Hockey League season starts again in just under two months. While the schedule won't be released until early next week, the league has already announced the first matches. The South Tyrolean teams will begin with home games.

On Friday, September 18th, the stadiums in Bolzano and Bruneck will once again be rocking. That's when the new ICE Hockey League season begins. HCB Südtirol Alperia and HC Falkensteiner Pustertal will have home games, as the league announced on Friday.

HCP kicks off the season with a real bang. The opening game is a rematch of last season's final, with reigning champions Graz visiting the city of Rienz. Two days later, the Wolves face another top opponent, traveling to Klagenfurt to play KAC.

HCB with two home games to start the season

Bolzano will also host another Austrian team, Vienna, on the first matchday. The Foxes will also start with two home games. On Sunday, September 20th, their long-time ICE hockey rivals Salzburg will visit the South Tyrolean capital.

Newcomers Milan will face Innsbruck away on the first matchday and then travel on to Linz, where the Black Wings will await the Lombards on Sunday.
