Pustertal brings back the desired candidate

HC Pustertal has provided new coach Kasper Vuorinen with an assistant coach. This is an old acquaintance in Rienzstadt. The club speaks of the desired solution.

Ivo Machacka is back at HC Pustertal. The 60-year-old was already active as a player in Bruneck for 15 years (508 games) and was subsequently a youth coach. Machacka was Wolves' assistant coach from 2015 to 2019 before moving to Cortina. There he first looked after the junior and then the AlpsHL team. Machacka was most recently head coach at Toblach (IHL), but had to vacate his chair in November.

Machacka will make his comeback behind the HCP gang on Friday when the Wolves play the 6-point game against Linz (19.45 p.m.). The Black Wings are currently in a playoff place, but are still within reach of the Pusterers. Machacka is definitely approaching his new task with motivation: “I am very happy to be part of the Wolves family again. I will give everything to achieve the goals we have set for the season with this great team.” One of these goals for the season is to get into the playoffs. With a home win against Linz, the Pusterers would come a little closer to this goal.
