Shock in Klagenfurt: Player collapses, match abandoned

The start of the playoffs was supposed to be a day of celebration on the ICE. But after an incident in Klagenfurt, ice hockey has taken a backseat.

The scenes that unfolded on Tuesday evening at the Heidi-Horten-Arena in Klagenfurt were horrific. In the 18th minute of the first quarterfinal match between KAC and Fehervar AV19, Klagenfurt defenseman Jordan Murray collapsed without any apparent reason.
