South Tyrolean extends his contract: “I feel completely at home in the Puster Valley”

The ICE Hockey League playoffs are just around the corner, marking the start of the decisive phase of the season. While everything on the ice is gearing up for the upcoming knockout matches, HC Pustertal is simultaneously making important personnel decisions for the future.

As was announced on Tuesday evening, the Alan Lobis He has extended his contract with the Wolves for another three years. The 21-year-old comes from Kaltern, gained valuable experience in youth hockey in Finland, and took the step into professional ice hockey with the Ritten Buam. Now, the next step in his development follows in Bruneck.

And the numbers from his first season in the black and yellow jersey underline this upward trend: In 43 games, Lobis recorded 4 goals and 9 assists – strong numbers for a young player in his debut season in the ICEHL. With speed, courage, and offensive instinct, he has quickly earned a regular place in the lineup and suggests that he can develop into a key component of the Pustertal roster in the coming years.

Sports director Patrick Bona"Alan is one of the young players who definitely seized his opportunity at HCP and therefore deserves a long-term contract extension. We see great potential for development in him. He is very intelligent on the court, technically skilled, and also fits in extremely well with us personally, which is why we are delighted that we were able to keep Alan with us for so long."

Alan Lobis“I worked very hard for this contract extension and I am incredibly happy to be able to wear the HC Falkensteiner Pustertal jersey for the next few years. I feel completely at home in Pustertal, as the entire club welcomed me warmly from the very beginning and contributed greatly to making me feel at home at HCP from the start.”
"I hope that in the coming years we can often sing 'Puschtra zi sein' together after our home games." Alan Lobis

Lobis added: "Playing in front of you Wolves fans is incredible, you are our 7th man on the ice. I hope that we can sing 'Puschtra zi sein' together many more times after our home games in the coming years."
