Goals, penalties, saves: these cracks shaped the ICE

POINTS

While Innsbruck's storm stars dominated this ranking after the regular round, at the end of the season a Viennese is at the top: Matt Bradley, who collected 58 scorer points in 74 games (30 goals). Close behind with 72 points each are the Sharks Brady Shaw and teammate Adam Helewka, who has by far the best points average (1,47 per game). Mitch Hults from HCB Südtirol Alperia holds 65th place with 4 points, HCP crack Olivier Archambault is in 45st place with 21 goals.

GATES

In this category too, a Viennese is ahead. However, not Bradley, but his teammate Maxwell Zimmer. The center forward hit the mark a total of 34 times - four times more than Bradley. Christian Thomas from HCB and Giordano Finoro from league newcomer Asiago share third place with 4 goals each. However, Thomas played 29 more games. With 17 stalls, Filip Ahl was the most accurate and therefore most dangerous player at HC Pustertal.

ASSIST This category is extremely strange because three players provided exactly the same number of assists: Bradley, Helewka and Shaw initiated a goal 44 times. Mitch Hults is ranked at the foot of the podium with a strong 42 assists. Archambault is eleventh, just outside the top 31 with 10 assists. Impressive: Asiago defender Randy Gazzola is in no way inferior to the strikers and is fifth with 38 assists. The former Ritten crack also leads the defenders' scoring list with 47 points.

PLUS MINUS

An HCB crack sets the tone in this category – namely Mike Dalhuisen. While his line partner Cole Hults was ahead with +40 after the basic round, in the final round the Dutchman is ranked at the top with +39. Benjamin Nissner from champions Red Bull Salzburg and Nicolas Rivett-Mattinen from Villacher SV share second place. Cole Hults follows in fourth with +36. Matthew Spencer holds the HCP record with +9. The negative record was set by three cracks from Olimpija Ljubljana: Ziga Pance (-33), Aleksandar Magovac (-31) and Tadej Cimzar (-29). HCP striker Anthony Bardaro is also far behind at -18.

GOALKEEPER

It's not for nothing that Atte Tolvanen was voted MVP of the playoffs for the second year in a row. The Finn has both the best catch rate (93 percent) and the lowest goals conceded average (1,71 per game). HCB goalie Sam Harvey (92,7 percent) and Wolves goalkeeper Tomas Sholl (92,3 percent) are also at the top in the former category. Harvey also has the third-best average (1,88) after Salzburg backup David Kickert (1,91). Curious: Although the EC KAC was already eliminated in the semi-finals, Sebastian Dahm played the most minutes (3313:48) and was the only one to crack the 1500 shot mark.

BULLY

The best face-off player in the league is once again Daniel Catenacci. The Italian-Canadian from HC Pustertal has been setting the tone in this ranking for years and couldn't be beaten this year either. His win rate is an outstanding 59,9 percent. Andrew Desjardins (Villach) is also well above average with 58,2 percent - as is Rok Ticar (KAC) with 57,9 percent. Mitch Hults has 56,8 percent and is fifth together with Thomas Koch (KAC).

EFFICIENCY Last year, he barely appeared in the AlpsHL, but he put fear into the minds of opposing defenses a league higher up: We're talking about Giordano Finoro. The Asiago striker fired 121 shots and hit the target 29 times. That corresponds to an insane rate of 24 percent. If you leave out those players who haven't shot at the opponent's goal 100 times, then Dustin Gazley from HCB takes second place with 19,8 percent. Asiago goalscorer Allan McShane also has an outstanding rate with 2 percent.

PENALTY MINUTES The baddest guy in the league was Mike Dalhuisen. The Dutchman accumulated 123 penalty minutes last season. He had to take a shower early twice, received a minor penalty 24 times and a disciplinary penalty twice. League top scorer Bradley is not a child of sadness either, as he has 116 penalty minutes. His teammate Jeremy Gregoire completes the podium with 99 penalty minutes. Scott Valentine has 94 to his name and is fourth.
