Many stars are staying: Pustertal makes a clear statement

HC Pustertal announced its first personnel decisions for the new season on Monday. Many stars from last season were retained.

HC Pustertal has just completed the best, most memorable, and craziest season in its club history, reaching the ICE Hockey League final for the first time. While the Graz99ers proved too strong, simply reaching the final series demonstrates that the Wolves have established themselves as a top team in the league.

That's how it should remain next season as well. And that's why squad architect Patrick Bona is already hard at work on the team's structure – and can now announce the first high-profile signings. Goalie Eddie Pasquale, the defenders Markus Lauridsen and Austin Osmanski as well as the strikers Austin Rueschhoff, Henry Bowlby and Cole Bardreau will continue to wear the wolf on their chest.

This will please the fans of HC Pustertal: Goalie Paschal – who was the Canadian Olympic goalkeeper in 2022 – became a great wizard in the playoffs and has long enjoyed hero status in the city of Rienz. Osmanski has also become a key player, and is on par with the class of the Danish national defender. Lauridsen This doesn't even need to be discussed.

132 scorer points remain

One statement in particular is the confirmation of the Puster Valley storm trio: Bowlby, Bardreau and Rueschhoff Last season, they collectively racked up an impressive 132 points, attracting interest from other clubs. Ultimately, however, they opted for the project in Bruneck. The final appearance was not intended to be a one-off.
