Many goals, many mistakes: Wilder HCB leaves the fans trembling

What a rollercoaster of emotions was that? HC Bozen repeatedly put in the lead against Olimpija Ljubljana away from home, repeatedly brought their opponents back into the game through some blatant blunders, and ultimately won 4-3 in extra time.

First the positive: Backup Gianluca Vallini put in a good performance in goal, celebrating his second win in his second 60-minute appearance. Former Bern defender Josh Teves is still a bit puck-loving, but he is increasingly becoming the best defender in Bolzano - and not just because of his winning goal. Now the negative: The many outrageous mistakes, like the one by new signing Tyler Sikura, who opened up Ljubljana's first goal after he had previously scored his debut goal. Ex-DEL defender Blake Parlett still seems slow, listless and inattentive. He would do well to take a break from thinking, like the one his defensive colleague Davis Vandane received in Slovenia. On the offensive, a lot is still left to chance or rather to rare individual actions.
