It's done: Eppan moves into the Master Round
HC Eppan has achieved its first goal of the season in the Italian Hockey League. Because Pergine lost against Varese at the same time and the Pirates won clearly against Como, the Überetsch team is safely in the Master Round. Alleghe can also be happy.

Before the penultimate match day, three teams were battling it out for a place in the top 6: Eppan, Alleghe and champions Pergine. The first two teams benefited from the Trentino team's defeat against Varese and moved into the Master Round. In the last match of the regular season, it's now all about the rankings. On Friday, Martin Lacroix's men clearly beat stragglers Como 7:3.
The visiting players once again played a decisive role in their own four walls. Chrystopher Collin scored two goals and provided two assists, Daniel Eruzione was also successful twice and provided four assists. The home team were 23-2 up after 0 minutes thanks to Collins's brace. The Überetsch team was not fazed by the Lombardy team's goal, as they continued to increase the score. Fabian Spitaler, Riccardo Tombolato and Tobias Engl also got on the scoresheet.

At the same time, Alleghe beat the Falcons Brixen 6:3. The South Tyroleans were behind throughout the game. Chase Phelps and double goal scorer Bogdan Stupak brought the Falcons to 1:2, 2:3 and 3:4. Meanwhile, SV Kaltern has secured first place in the table. Jonas Oberrauch, who scored twice in three and a half minutes in the second period, and Moritz Selva played a major role in the 1:5 win against Valpellice. Matteo Cappuccio was also happy to score a goal.
The HC 3 Zinnen Dolomites celebrated a respectable victory, beating third-placed Feltre at home 3:5 after extra time. The lead changed back and forth several times in Toblach. The Eisbären were ahead 4:2 and 1:3, Feltre opened the scoring and made it 2:4. However, double goal scorer Lukas Tauber forced extra time, in which Mykhailo Krasnozhon became the match winner. Nicolò Esposito and Daniel Bäckström scored the other two goals.
