In the shadow of the Olympic ice hockey, the IHL amateur teams played their games on Saturday evening. The South Tyrolean clubs managed only one victory.

Eppan secured this victory, winning 4-3 at home against Alleghe in the Master Round. This win allowed the Überetsch team to overtake Alleghe in the standings. Brixen suffered a defeat against Fiemme after a last-second equalizer. Toblach had no chance against Feltre, despite the Polar Bears taking an early lead.

For Brixen, the defeat against Fiemme is a setback in their fight for the playoffs – especially since Feltre and Fassa won their matches. The situation in the qualification round is becoming increasingly precarious for the team from Brixen.
