Kaltern has found its top striker

SV Kaltern has filled its second import spot and landed a real top striker.

A new Finn for SV Kaltern—and what a player he is! Mikael Saha will be the forward for the Pikes in the Italian Hockey League. The 30-year-old is moving from Cortina to the Unterland region and can confidently be described as a major signing.

Saha was the top scorer in Cortina (AlpsHL), scoring a whopping 48 points in 45 games. Two years ago, the Scandinavian played in the ICE Hockey League, where he made nine appearances for the Black Wings Linz. For the Steel Wings, the farm team in the AlpsHL, he scored 38 points in 34 games. Before that, he also played for Cortina (50 points in 53 games).

Saha came to Unterland on the recommendation of former Kaltern and Bozen coach Kai Suikkanen, as the Pikes announced on their social media channels. "Saha is coming to Kaltern at the peak of his hockey career and will give the Pikes a huge boost to their attacking game," the statement continued.
