The Italian Hockey League (IHL) has a new attraction: With Francesco Adami, the HC 3 Zinnen Dolomites have snapped up a familiar face.

Francesco Adami has been the face of Cortina for the past 20 years. Now, at the end of his career, the 39-year-old is moving to Toblach to join the Eisbären in the IHL. This transfer comes as quite a surprise. Previously, Pustertal natives Hector Majul and Randen Schmidt from Canada.
The HC 3 Zinnen Dolomites appear to have even greater ambitions for the new season. With Adami, the long-time Cortina captain, Toblach has secured a player with strong leadership qualities.
