Crazy finish: Aosta makes it exciting against Kaltern

What an exciting final series in the Italian Hockey League: HC Aosta struck back against SV Kaltern in game 4 on Saturday and reset everything to zero.

It's the final series of crazy final minutes. In every match so far, the end of the game has been chaotic. Game 4 on Saturday in Aosta was no exception. Kaltern, who were leading the best-of-seven series 2-1, were desperate for a match point. But in the end, they suffered a 3-5 defeat.

Kaltern were leading 3-2 until six and a half minutes before the end. Moritz Selva, Joonas Oskari Alanne, and Max Oberrauch turned the initial 0-2 deficit on its head and had the traveling fans dreaming of victory. But then Aosta turned on the afterburners in the final minutes.

Nardella turns the match around

One man was unstoppable: Nick Nardella. The playoff top scorer first set up Brandon McNally's equalizing goal and then scored twice within a minute, securing the victory for Aosta.

In short: Everything is wide open again between Kaltern and Aosta, as the score is tied 2-2. The best-of-seven series will now become a best-of-three series. On Tuesday, the Kaltern team will try to secure their first match point of the series in front of their home crowd.
