Crazy match: HCP Junior forces the showdown

The HCP Juniors can continue to dream of the IHL Division 1 title. On Wednesday, the Bruneck team forced a decisive Game 5 thanks to a crazy victory!

In the final series against Chiavenna, HCP Junior looked like a sure loser. After the first two games of the best-of-5 series, the Pustertal team was trailing 0-2, meaning Chiavenna was just one win away from the championship title. But then the Wolves showed their fighting spirit and launched a comeback, which culminated in the series equalizer on Wednesday evening. Thanks to the 6-5 overtime victory in Como, the Pustertal team forced a decisive Final 5, which is expected to take place on Sunday at the Intercable Arena.

Wednesday night's victory in Game 4 was insane and not for the faint of heart. The approximately 300 fans in Como witnessed eleven goals, with the Pustertal team trailing for almost the entire game. But in the end, Elias Fauster made it 6-5 with his goal in overtime, sending his team into ecstasy. In addition to Fauster (who scored two goals), his teammates Patrick Mazzarini and Simon Helfer also shone, each scoring one goal. Lukas Crepaz and Maximilian Leitner added the other goals.
