Peter Spornberger will definitely leave the Schwenninger Wild Wings. The DEL club confirmed this on Tuesday.

Spornberger's departure has been rumored for a long time. Now it's fixed: The Schwenninger Wild Wings wrote on their club's own website that the South Tyrolean's chapter will close after a total of 113 games on the Neckar. His expiring contract was therefore not extended.

Spornberger played in Schwenningen for three years. The Ritten defender, who was previously trained in Freiburg, Cologne and Landshut, was already thinking before the B-WM in Bolzano, how his career should continue. After years of promising development, the 25-year-old recently lost his regular place in the Wild Wings defense.
