The Czech Republic and Sweden are in the quarterfinals

Although Latvia managed to pull one back through Eduards Tralmaks, Sweden controlled the game after the intermission, extending their lead to 4-1 with a goal from Mika Zibanejad on a counterattack, and William Nylander added the final goal.
