Colorado striker Nathan MacKinnon is having what is probably his best NHL season. He was involved in 5 goals in the Avalanche's 0-4 win against the Chicago Blackhawks.

He scores and scores and prepares goals – already in 30 home games in a row. In these 30 games, MacKinnon had 25 goals and 40 assists. This is the sixth-longest punk streak in NHL history. Wayne Gretzky holds the record with 40 consecutive games for Los Angeles.

“It's going on at home, I don't know exactly why. We have a lot of dangerous players in the squad and they often make the difference,” explained the power wing. MacKinnon has 63 goals and 39 assists after 66 games. The Canadian leads the NHL scoring charts together with Nikita Kutscherow (Tampa Bay/105 points each).
