Injured at the Olympics: This is how long superstar Crosby will be out.

Sidney Crosby will be absent from the Pittsburgh Penguins for some time, following his absence from the Canadian team during the crucial Olympic phase.

The captain of the National Hockey League (NHL) club will be out for at least four weeks, the club announced on Wednesday. Crosby suffered a lower-body injury on February 19 during the 4-3 overtime quarterfinal win against the Czech Republic and consequently missed the semifinals and the final, which they lost to the USA.

The 38-year-old has 27 goals and 32 assists in 56 games this NHL season. In his career, the three-time Stanley Cup winner has amassed 652 goals and 1.094 assists in 1.408 games.
