Carolina shines in the East

The Hurricanes were the first team in the Eastern Conference to secure their ticket to the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

With a clear 5-1 victory against overwhelmed Columbus Blue Jackets, they made everything clear early – and once again confirmed their consistency of recent years.

Under Coach Rod Brind'Amour, this marks the eighth consecutive postseason appearance. Particularly impressive is Carolina's recent run, which often ended late in the season, with several runs reaching the Conference Finals.

Things are going well on the court, too: Carolina is currently dominating the Metropolitan Division. Offensively, Sebastian Aho, Seth Jarvis, and company are delivering consistently, ensuring the Hurricanes are considered serious title contenders early on.

In short: Carolina is ready for another deep playoff run.
