Cole Caufield is Montreal's hero

Cole Caufield was the match-winner: With his 40th goal of the season, he decided a thrilling Atlantic thriller against Boston and led the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-2 overtime victory. At the same time, he set a historic record for his team.

In the tight race of the Atlantic Division, the victory is particularly valuable: Montreal gains a small lead and remains in contention at the top, while the Bruins drop important points in the fight for the playoffs.

The game was high-intensity and full of twists and turns. Boston took the lead twice, but Montreal fought back each time. Besides Caufield, Nick Suzuki and Josh Anderson also impressed, while Pavel Zacha scored twice for the visitors.

In the end, one moment decided it: Caufield was in the right place and made the difference – a victory that could be extremely important for Montreal in the playoff race.
