The NHL snipers in a giving mood

3 goals in a row, double packs, numerous scorer points and more: The NHL's snipers showed their best side last night.

Finland's Mikko Rantanen scored three goals to lead the Colorado Avalanche to a 4-3 win against the St. Louis Blues. Czech David Pastrnak also scored three goals in the Boston Bruins' 6-2 win against Ottawa.

Russian Nikita Kucherov shone with four scorer points (one goal, three assists) in Tampa Bay's 5-3 win against champions Vegas. Brayden Point contributed two goals to the Lightning's success in the final third.

With a hat trick, Mark Scheifele led the Winnipeg Jets to a 4-2 win against the New York Rangers in the big game of the round. Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck made 40 saves.

The Swede Elias Pettersson achieved a top performance in the Vancouver Canucks' 3-2 win against the Buffalo Sabres. The attacker scored two goals himself and prepared the third goal.

Swiss Predators captain Roman Josi and Filip Forsberg each recorded a goal and two assists in Nashville's 8-2 win over the San Josè Sharks.

McDavid always there

Of course, when it comes to goals and assists, Connor McDavid cannot be missed. In the 3-2 overtime win against Montreal, the superstar scored a goal and set up Leon Draisaitl's winning goal in overtime.
