Speculation after check against Draisaitl

Germany's ice hockey star Leon Draisaitl will be out indefinitely for the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL.

Draisaitl suffered an unspecified lower body injury on Sunday during the 3-1 win against Nashville after a body check by Ozzy Wiesblatt.

It is still unclear how long the 30-year-old will be sidelined. "I think we'll have to manage without him for some time. I'm not sure if it will be one or two games, or how long it will take. I don't have much information at the moment," said coach Kris Knoblauch.

Edmonton plays San Jose on Wednesday night (CET). Draisaitl is fourth in the NHL scoring race with 97 points.
