In 11 seconds: Champions set course for quarter-finals

The Florida Panthers and the Dallas Stars opened the door to the next round of playoffs in the NHL last night (CEST).

With two defensive goals within eleven seconds, the Panthers turned Game 4 against the Tampa Bay Lightning and took a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Aaron Ekblad and Seth Jones tipped the scales with the fastest two defenseman goals in playoff history. They turned a 57-1 deficit into a 2-3 lead in the 2th minute. Carter Verhaeghe then sealed the victory.

The Dallas Stars won Game 5 6-2 against the Colorado Avalanche on Monday at their home stadium, the American Airlines Center. This gives the Texans a 3-2 lead in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
