After 13 defeats: Buffalo Sabres can still win

The Buffalo Sabres have won a game in the NHL again after a dry spell of exactly one month.

Buffalo beat the New York Islanders 7-1 (2-0, 3-1, 2-0), achieving its highest win of the season. The Sabres had previously lost 13 games in a row in the North American ice hockey league.


The Sabres took a 5-0 lead at the end of the second period, and Peterka was involved in Jack Quinn's goal with his 15th assist of the season. Rasmus Dahlin was the most notable player for Buffalo, scoring four assists. Despite their XNUMXth win of the season, the Sabres remain bottom of the Atlantic Division.
