NHL playoffs: Opening victories for Winnipeg and Colorado

At the start of the playoffs in the North American ice hockey league NHL, the Winnipeg Jets and the Colorado Avalanche were the first teams to write.

Winnipeg trailed 0-1 and 2-3 at home against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday, but turned the game around to win 5-3. Colorado handed the Dallas Stars a 1-5 home defeat, with Nathan MacKinnon contributing two goals.
