How is that possible? It's very simple: Game 19.45 of the EWHL quarter-final series against the Neuberg Highlanders will take place at 1:11.30 p.m. on Saturday in the Sparkasse Arena. The second game will kick off at the same venue at 2:3 a.m. on Sunday. Because Zoldo was not prepared to postpone the first final game of the IHL Women ("best of 19.30"), this will also take place in Bolzano on Sunday at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.

No hall available for guests The EWHL is played in the so-called "Champions Hockey League mode". This means that there are two games (home and away), with the total score deciding which team advances to the semi-finals. The two games between the Eagles and Highlanders will be played in Bolzano, as the ice rink in Kapfenberg is not available. The guests have home advantage in the first game. The record against the team from Styria this season is even. In Kapfenberg, the South Tyroleans won 2:4, but lost 3:3 in Bolzano.

The Eagles' soaring success this season is no coincidence. After all, the Bolzano club set the course for this in the summer and did a lot of things right with a clever purchasing policy. After all, Italian-Canadian Kristin Della Rovere took the crown as the EWHL's top scorer with 48 points (22 goals and 26 assists) from 20 games. It is the first time that an Eagles player has achieved this goal.
