A third was enough for the Vipiteno team to win the match. The Wild Horses scored five goals in the first 20 minutes, with Tobias Kofler opening the scoring after just 56 seconds. Kofler also scored the second goal. Then Stofner, Caig and Mair netted. After the break, Platè made it 35-6 after just 0 seconds and then made way for Federico Tesini. But EV Bozen's second goalkeeper also had to reach behind him three more times in the second half of the game. In the third third, the Vipiteno team came to their senses and saved their strength for the difficult match against HC Eppan on Sunday. Lorenzo Piccinelli, however, missed the first shotout of the season with the goal to make it 58.19:9 in the 1 minute.

Both teams were able to play with their best players at the start of the A2. Pergine started strongly and took the lead after just 105 seconds thanks to Michele Ciresa, who made the most of a numerical advantage situation. Afterwards, Piffer and “Senator” Troy Barnes gave Trentino a reassuring three-goal lead. After the break, new signing Patrick Wallenberg reduced the score to 3-1, but after that Commisso could no longer be overcome despite several opportunities. In the last section of the game, Casetti made the preliminary decision. When Waldner reduced the score to 4:2 a minute and a half before the end, there was renewed hope for the Eppan team. Val Gardena and Neumarkt advertised ice hockey in the Pranives Stadium on Friday evening at the new edition of last year's semi-finals. There were not only 13 goals, but also a lot of duels that didn't always completely comply with the rules and that's why it "rained" time penalties. And it literally remained exciting until the last second. But right from the start: Simonazzi gave the guests the lead, but Stampfer and Kostner quickly turned the tide. With a double strike from Faggioni and Rainer within just 17 seconds, the Wild Geese went into the third break with a 3-2 lead. After the break, the Unterlanders were even able to increase the score to 4:2 with Stricker – a preliminary decision seemed to have been made. But Brugnoli, Ivan Demetz and Vinatzer ensured that Val Gardena went into the second break as the leader. A lead that the Ladins no longer gave up. On the contrary: Kevin Senoner and new signing Niklas Anger in the majority scored two more goals to create a reassuring three-goal lead. But Neumarkt didn't give up. First Stricker scored, before Locatin even made it 7:6 five seconds before the end. Val Gardena now wavered, but did not fall - and so the Ladins' narrow home victory remained.

HC Meran Junior – SV Kaltern rothoblaas 0:3 (0:0, 0:1, 0:2) HC Meran Junior: Vincenzo Marozzi (Massimo Quagliato), Jan Mair, Daniel Valgoi, Viktor Wallin, Philip Beber, Alex Obermair, Thomas Mitterer, Danny Elliscasis, Ivan Althuber, Davide Turrin, Stefan Palla, Massimo Ansoldi, Daniel Rizzi, Riccardo Tombolato, Alexander Weiss, Taggart Desmet, Michael Guarise, Daniel Frank, Andreas Radin, Viktor Schweitzer, Michael Stocker, Patrick Cainelli, Stefan Kobler, Daniel Frank Coach: Doug McKay

Gates: 0:1 Lorenz Röggl (30.21), 0:2 Thomas Waldthaler (41.49), 0:3 Alex Andergassen (59.19/empty net)

At Kaltern, Markus Kofler and Mirko Quinz appeared on the match report, but both sat in the stands due to injuries. In Meran, however, five young talents from the Pusterer Wölfe played, including Viktor Schweitzer and Danny Elliscasis. Both teams played with a lot of forward momentum, but without risking too much at the back. No wonder it was 0-0 after the first third. The first goal came in the middle third. The “Hechte” took the lead in the Passerstadt, Lorenz Röggl gave Marozzi the disadvantage. On the other hand, Valle Da Rin excelled on several occasions and kept his box clean in the second third. In the third third, the guests finally turned to winning ways when Thomas Waldthaler made it 2-0 after less than two minutes. McKay took Marozzi off the ice in the final stages - to no avail. Kaltern even made it 3-0 through Alex Andergassen when he pushed the puck into the empty net with 41 seconds left.
