Top games for Val Gardena and Ritten

The start of this ice hockey week is HC Gröden. The Furies have to do a double shift. Head coach David Musial's team will face Lustenau away on Tuesday and will host Zell am See two days later. The encounter with the Eisbären in particular promises to be very explosive, as there is currently only one point separating the two teams in the table.

There is also a very exciting encounter in Klobenstein. The Rittner Buam receive the 3rd from Cortina. Both teams go into the game with a lot of self-confidence. While Ritten won the last two duels against Lustenau and the Wipptal Broncos, the guests recently defeated Unterland 5-3.

The currently best South Tyrolean team, the Unterland Cavaliers, will face Fassa on Thursday evening. On paper, the away game shouldn't cause any particular problems for the Knights, as the Falcons find themselves in the bottom of the table. Meanwhile, HC Meran can secure a place in the middle of the table with a win against Lustenau. The Eagles, who recently lost against league leader Jesenice after two wins in a row, are desperate for compensation.

No South Tyrolean duel in the IHL In the IHL there will be no duel between the South Tyrolean teams on this match day. Nevertheless, the encounter between league leaders Varese and 5th place Eppan promises a lot of excitement. With a win, the Pirates can reduce the gap to the top to one point.
