Ronaldo's 100th league goal in Saudi Arabia

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his 100th goal in the Saudi Arabian league and is getting closer and closer to his goal of 1.000 goals in his football career.

In his club Al-Nassr's 4-2 victory against Al-Shabab, the 41-year-old Portuguese player converted a pass from former Bayern Munich player Sadio Mané to make it 3-1 a quarter of an hour before the final whistle. The other three goals were scored by fellow Portuguese player João Félix.

For Ronaldo, it was his 26th league goal of the season and the 971st of his career. "Ronaldo is always dangerous, we saw that today," said Al-Nassr's coach Jorge Jesus.

His team leads the table by five points ahead of Al-Hilal, who have played one game less and will be Ronaldo's team's next opponent next Tuesday. The former World Player of the Year has been playing in Saudi Arabia since December 2022 and is still waiting for a major title there.
