Auer and Latzfons Verdings have secured promotion to the Landesliga (regional league). A long night of celebration is expected, especially for the Eisack Valley team, at their home ground. Latzfons Verdings won the title decider against second-place Kiens convincingly 4-1 and thus returns to South Tyrol's top division. Auer sealed the deal with a 6-0 victory against Riffian Kuens and will also play in the Landesliga – for the first time in the club's history. Celebrations are sure to be in full swing in the lower Adige Valley as well...
Despite the defeat, Kiens still has a chance of promotion. Next Sunday they will play a decisive match against St. Martin Moos, the runner-up in Group A.
Sterzing in the 1st Amateur League
There's great jubilation in Sterzing as well. The Wipptal team is back on the "important" South Tyrolean football map and has been promoted to the 1st Amateur League as runners-up. Feldthurns missed out. Albeins (Group B), Algund and Ulten (Group A) had already secured promotion.Gossensaß (in red jerseys) still has to sweat it out. © D. Laner
The relegation battle in the east is heating up. Because Gossensaß drew against Feldthurns and Jergina Amateure won their match at the same time, the clubs now have the same number of points. A decisive match will determine who joins Terenten in the relegation battle.Jenesien and Napoli Club celebrate promotions
There are celebrations in Laas as well. However, it's not the home team who are celebrating, but the visitors from Jenesien. They have secured the championship title in Group A of the 3rd Amateur League. Girlan misses out and must take the long route through the playoffs against Unterland Berg (Group B) and Mühlwald (Group C). Also crowned champions on Sunday was Bolzano's Napoli Club, who celebrated an 11-0 victory over Latino Americana Incas and will therefore play in a higher league next season. Wiesen (Group B) had already secured their title earlier. All promoted and relegated teams in the amateur leagues
