The 23rd matchday of the Landesliga offered its fans plenty of excitement on Saturday afternoon, as the attacking lines of several clubs put on a spectacular show: a total of 27 goals were scored in just six matches. While Terlan prevailed 1-0 against Schenna, Obermais cruised to a 5-1 victory against Weinstraße Süd. Naturns also celebrated a convincing 4-0 win away at Stegen, Gitschberg Jochtal defeated Gargazon 3-0, and Natz also secured a comfortable 4-0 victory in Latsch. However, the most emphatic performance came from league leaders Bruneck, who gave Freienfeld no chance, thrashing them 8-0.

League leaders Bruneck made a real statement on matchday 23, thrashing Freienfeld 8-0 away from home. Man of the match was Patrick Burger, who bagged a perfect hat-trick in the first half, laying the foundation for the resounding victory. After the break, Justin Pfeifer, Felix Gräber, Philipp Piffrader, and finally Thomas Piffrader further increased the scoreline, emphatically reinforcing Bruneck's position at the top of the table.

Naturns is staying on top of it

Naturns, the team chasing the leaders, also left nothing to chance, securing a comfortable 4-0 victory in Stegen. Thomas Mair's early brace put them on the path to victory, before Dominic Weithaler and Thomas Nischler sealed the convincing away win. With 52 points, Naturns remains the closest challenger to league leaders Bruneck, who have 57 points.

Later that evening, Lana lost 0:1 against Voran Leifers, while Salurn emerged victorious against Tscherms Marling with a score of 3:2.
