These are the new movers and shakers in amateur football

On Saturday morning, the South Tyrolean branch of the football association elected its new board and at the same time confirmed the president in office.

Numerous club representatives made the pilgrimage to the Sheraton Hotel in Bolzano to elect their highest representatives. Klaus Schuster was confirmed in his position as president for the next four years. He ran without an opponent.

The election of the board members was more exciting, with six candidates vying for seven places. Veleo Sgarbi did not make it onto the board, but the long-standing president of AFC Neumarkt, Klaus Pichler, and football reporter Manuel Tabarelli were elected instead. The latter, at 27, is the youngest board member. In addition to them, Vice President Günther Pföstl, Andreas Canal, Siegfried Stocker and Karl Wierer were newly elected onto the board.

Massimo Cima, however, was confirmed as head of small-sided football (calcio a 5), and Rodolfo Berardo is now responsible for women's football. He succeeds Franz Holzknecht, who, like board member Andrea Oberjakober, is leaving at his own request.
