Spoilt for choice: Top games on the weekend
Neutral South Tyrolean football fans who want to attend a top match in the upper or regional league at the weekend are spoiled for choice. There are some crackers on the program.

Whether in the east or south of the country – there are some very exciting duels in the country's two highest amateur leagues this weekend. Would you like a few suggestions?
The big Bolzano city derby will take place on Sunday in the Oberliga. It is eagerly awaited, and Virtus Bozen is the clear favorite. The Serie D relegated team picked up a point against Levico in their opening match and is one of the top contenders for the championship title. The orange and black city rivals want to make people forget the completely botched previous season, but received another black eye in their opening match with a 1:2 defeat against Rovereto. A defeat in the city derby and the false start would be perfect.
Alex Pfitscher meets Obermais with Tramin.
A few kilometers further south, another top duel is taking place in Tramin. The home team will face Obermais and it is quite possible that the winner of the match (should there be one) will be at the top of the table after the second match day. This is not possible for Stegen and St. Pauls, who both played a draw in their opening matches. But here too, both teams can certainly expect something.Regional league: Top match takes place in Bruneck
There is another cracker in the regional league. Bruneck hosts Naturns. Both teams won their opening match and are both aiming for the upper league. Nothing stands in the way of a top match. Lana is already under a little pressure, wanting to score points in Salurn after the derby defeat against Tscherms Marling. But that also applies to the Unterland team, who also still have 0 points on their account. That alone is causing tension.Oberliga: 2th matchday
