After 34 minutes, the match seemed already decided: Thanks to goals from Philipp Traut (10th minute), Alex Kiem (14th minute), and Samuel Weiss (34th minute), the home side were 3-0 up after just over half an hour in Sunday's home game against Gargazon. However, the surprised visitors didn't give up and mounted a comeback, ensuring a thrilling finale. Gargazon narrowed the gap to 3-4 before Laurin Stecher (86th minute) and Matias Lunari (90th minute) redeemed the home side with goals for a 6-3 final scoreline.

Latsch, which thus scored two more goals in one afternoon than in the previous four matches, jumped to eighth place in the table. Gargazon, on the other hand, slipped to second to last.

Olimpia Meran stays close to Bruneck

Olimpia Merano experienced a similarly dramatic game. In their home match against Freienfeld, the second-placed team trailed 1-0 for almost 85 minutes, but thanks to a converted penalty by Elvin Reka (90th minute) and a late winner by Ilir Skuka (90th+2 minutes), they were still able to celebrate three important points. Olimpia remains just two points behind league leaders Bruneck, who already played at Gitschberg Jochtal on Saturday. his fifth win in the fifth game.

In the duel between table neighbors Natz and Naturns, the latter prevailed, winning thanks to David Zischg's winning goal (48th minute). Bottom-of-the-table Schenna, on the other hand, secured its first point of the season with a 1-1 home draw against Leifers.
